Updated Norton 360 System Won't Boot


I restarted my PC and my NIS icon changed from the normal square with green check mark to a circle with a check mark. Hugh Replies are locked for this thread. Anyway, now I know how to do that so not all bad. Switched off and booted into safe mode, uninstalled Norton product, then rebooted. Please restart when prompted.  Disregard and close any prompts to reinstall your product when the restart is complete. Doing so will make sure that your Norton software will load before any potential malware. see this here

I still don't know if my machine is actually protected as it shows it needing a scan, etc. As are approx 30 days of my subscription!
