This I found usefull because there is a program that I use that is skinnable and uses pcx files for skinning. used to be that IE didn't support transparancy in PNG's.. Maintaining Arch is a measure of your diligence. And yes, IE7 now supports transparency and as it's the most recent version of the browser that's the reason I didn't mention about earlier versions, again to keep bulk down.
When I try to save, copy or DLoad all I get is the first image ... I'm thinking there are other "optional" features hidden away in the menus, but you can't use them if you don't know about them. You must be doing something different than I do. DrKoch: Path.GetExtension worked, thank you.

Quite often though, the source image must first be constrained to GIF's limitations (8 bits per pixel, mostly) before it can be saved in that format.
