If the request is to go to his/her home outside of work hours, I think you should still consider doing it, but I would hope that the owner recognizes the extra if there's such thing. Sometimes it is ‘unfair' as in sexist or racist -- but mostly it is about identifying talent which is not evenly distributed. This is a common problem, you have to reduce your targets or increase your resources or somehow find ways to be more efficient.
