BE ADVISED..you will be deleting the "bad" winlogon.exe file and if you don't replace it with a "good/legitimate" one, Windows will not boot.. I have read every thread on this board and tried the following solutions but have not been able to remove it. I will try downloading Malwarebytes again, this time using IE. Download Malwarebytes Chameleon from the below link and extract it to a folder in a convenient location. I have tried to remove it and I am unsuccessful. I do not know at this point which has become more annoying, having the Trojan, or the pop-up warning constantly telling me that I have it, lol. Usually though, the spyware programs don't actually remove the legitimate file, they instead rename it to something like "winlogon2.exe" or something similar..
