When starts he works normally but after a few seconds the screen flashes and then disappears completely or windows look very dimly or not at all. I'm guessing the display is bad. Thankful to be a IT student, entry level in my career so far & I was capable to fix/replace the backlight myself. I have also tried outputing the display using a VGA cable but that didn't work either, I'm not entirely relying on that aspect though because my tv has had previous problems
